Set your Learning Objectives to red.
Open up your PowerPoint from last lesson it should be called 'Web Design'.
Save your PowerPoint as 'Web Design'
In order for you to be able to see your web page online you will need your own Web Space this is usually provided for you by an Inter Service Provider or ISP.
We are going to use W3-Schools as our web space provider. In order to do that we have to first create an account with W3-Schools and to do that you will need to provide your own email address as you will need it to verify your account.
If you don't have an email account one click on the button below to create a Gmail account.
Click on the link below to go to the W3 Schools sign up page.
Click on the green Sign up text.
Enter Your login details and then you will be asked to verify your email address.
Now click on the spaces button in the navigation bar.
You will now be ask how you want to create your space choose the blank page option.
Now give your website a name, it has to be all lower case.
To go to your Web Space.
To go to your files.
To open your Home Page.
This is the code for your Home page replace it with your own code and save it.
Now if you want to look at your Home page online.
You now have your own website page on the World Wide Web
In order to make a website quickly web designers often use CSS frameworks and custom made templates.
A framework is a design structure where a lot of the styling has been done for you by creating classes that do specific things like creating tables or a colour scheme.
