Set your Learning Objectives to red.
Open up your PowerPoint from last lesson it should be called 'Web Design'.

Last week we looked at CSS frameworks and templates

In order to make a website quickly web designers often use CSS frameworks and custom made templates.

A framework is a design structure where a lot of the styling has been done for you by creating classes that do specific things like creating tables or a colour scheme.

Click on the link below to see W3 Schools CSS framework and some of their templates.

Task 1

Find a template you like
Copy the code from the template into Notepad ++.
Save your page as a HTML file (don't forget to change the language to HTML).
Open your new page in Chrome.

Maybe you could adapt one of their templates to create your own website

Now that we have a template design for our page we can start to style it as our Home Page

Task 3

Replace the text in the template with your own text
Add in some images by putting them in the img tag src.
Delete and copy different elements so your page looks how you want it to look.
Open it in Chrome to make sure your changes have worked.

Extension - Duplicate your page and then add links to the different pages

Change your new pages so that you can tell the difference between them.
